Rain Cloud over the Marsh by Donna Davis

​​​​Here's a chance for you to try Watercolor!!

The Swannanoa Valley Fine Arts League is sponsoring a Watercolor class this summer.

You will learn the basics of watercolor, learn techniques, and complete a painting!! The teacher is Donna Davis, a watercolor artist who has a studio at the Red House.

June 8, 22, 27 and July 6, 13 and 20

The class runs six weeks and meets Wednesdays 10-12 at the Red House. Cost for the class is $150 plus supplies. We need at least 5 and no more than 8-9 to hold the class.

Donna has taught watercolors for 20 years in Greenville, NC. She will demo techniques and then help you as you try them out. We will have fun and learn lots about watercolor along the way. If you have ever wanted to try watercolor or if you've tried before and gotten discouraged, give this class a try. Donna conducts a supportive, caring class, where everyone learns from each other.
